Back to the grind today! Did anyone do anything exciting over the weekend? The healthysELF challenge was to do 3 planks so I worked those into my workouts. I also purchased some new running shoes. I bought a pair of Asics Gel-Kayano 19 shoes and so far I am loving them!
I also did some grocery shopping so I could do my Sunday food prep. Let’s see how I filled up my bags:
I’m super excited to try Popchips for the first time ever! I also bought some string cheese to spice up my normal snack routine. And the Bob’s Red Mill Pizza Crust will be a part of a homemade pizza experiment coming up soon 🙂
On a different note, last night after the gym I made a new juice…and I have to say it was definitely interesting. Here’s what it included:
It tasted sweet and gingery on the first sip, but left a very earthy (cough! *kind of like dirt* cough!) after taste. Not the best juice I’ve ever made, but it’s still fun to experiment. I wouldn’t call it a total fail…just not my favorite.
And for some random music fun, I’ve been loving running to this song. I am by no means a Fall Out Boy fan, but if I was being honest, I’d say that I played this song a minimum of nine times yesterday during my workout.
