WIAW – A little bit from this, a little from that!

Now, I have a random assortment of foods to share with you for WIAW. I am really bad at taking pictures of the foods I eat when I’m at work, mostly because I don’t feel like looking like more a weirdo in front of my coworkers than I already do. But I am pretty good about taking pictures of my food when I’m at home! So here’s a random accumulation of meals and snacks that I’ve been snapping lately:

First up, we have the Thai inspired tofu soup that I whipped up for dinner one night. Nice and spicy! And of course a glass of cab!

I hit up Trader Joe’s this past weekend and purchased my first ever jar of Crunchy Cookie Butter. Oh. My. Goodness. That stuff is AMAZING! I enjoyed it with a side of fruit, but don’t get any wrong ideas, I did not dip the fruit in the butter. I literally ate the cookie butter with a spoon. I am sure it is good with so many things, but right now I don’t have the patience to do anything with it but eat spoonfuls and dip my finger into the jar. I have no shame. Sorry, not sorry.

And my lunches at work this week all came from my Sunday night food prep. I grilled chicken on the grill with some spices and a little BBQ sauce, made up some little caprese salads, cut up some peppers and carrots to dip into hummus, and included some strawberries in my lunches this week. I also made a batch of protein rice krispie treats (big bowl/dish in the corner of the picture). I haven’t gotten the recipe quite figured out just yet, but when I get it to my liking I will share with you guys 🙂

Last night on the way home from work, I went to the store to pick up some groceries and I got sucked into buying a bag of these adorable animal crackers! They made for a great dessert!

And I may be the weirdest person ever, but I’ve started reaching for the pickle jar whenever I’m feeling munchy. Gotta love the crunch!
